As an internist myself, I rarely have a chance to be in the operating room; however, surgery is the most critical place for surgeons. I have a surgeon colleague. While he was a junior resident, he read surgery books in his spare time. And the day before the surgery, he would stay in a diner to prepare for the next day's service. Anatomical knowledge is essential, and surgery is complicated unless you have a three-dimensional understanding of it. After watching various surgeries, assisting, and experiencing a surgical operation, one would become a so-called "full-fledged surgeon."

Their service, "OPeLiNK", is an operating room information fusion platform that enables time-synchronized recording, presentation, and real-time distribution of data from various medical devices used in the operating room.
