FDA grants marketing authorization for Vibrant®, a new first-in-class, drug-free treatment for adults with chronic idiopathic constipation
2007年にイスラエルの地で創業したVibrant社は８月30日、慢性特発性便秘症(CIC)を適応とした非薬剤療法「Vibrant」がFDAより販売承認されたことを発表しました。「Vibrant」は使い捨て型のカプセル錠剤で、結腸をを通り過ぎる際に振動して機械的な刺激を発生させることで、CICの症状緩和をもたらすことが臨床試験で確認されています。
